The College Work-Study Program of the college offer students the opportunity to have on-campus employment. Various work assignments are available to students. Hiwassee College attempts to place students in work assignments that will complement their educational experience with practical work experiences.
Hiwassee Work-Study Program (HWSP)
The Hiwassee Work-Study Program is available to students without regard to financial need. All students seeking employment are eligible for consideration for on-campus job placement through this program.
The rate of pay for the HWSP will be at least the current federal minimum wage. The amount of the Hiwassee work-study award and individual work assignments will be made based on the student’s skills, specific needs of the institution and the availability of funds.
To be considered for student employment the student must complete an Application for student Employment. This application can be obtained by contacting the Financial Aid Office of the College.
