An influential alumni and administrator at Hiwassee, Gilbreath left a lasting legacy to both his college and his state well. After a successful presidency at Hiwassee, Gilbreath became the founding president of East Tennessee State University.

Prime Minister of Jordan
After a promising start with Hiwassee College’s pre-engineering program, His Excellency went on to earn his engineering degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville before launching a successful political career in his home country, attaining the nation’s highest office, after the royal family.
