Hiwassee College to Hold Shoot-Out at Rarity Pointe

Tiger Shoot-Out Sept. 13MADISONVILLE, Tenn. — The Tiger Shoot-Out golf outing benefiting Hiwassee College Athletics will be held Monday, September 13, at Rarity Pointe Golf Club.  Each year, the Shoot-Out raises around $10,000 for the Tigers’ USCAA (United States Collegiate Athletic Association) teams, which provide students wholesome, Christian fellowship while contributing to the development of their character, self-confidence and team spirit.  Hiwassee fields teams in 11 sports, including men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s cross-country, baseball (men), softball (women) and volleyball (women).

Registration and range balls begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch at noon and a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start.  The format is a four-man scramble and entry is $ 75.00 per player. The field is limited, so register early.  To register or sponsor a hole, call 423-420-1222 or online at www.hiwassee.edu.
