During the semester of probation, the student will be eligible to receive financial assistance but must re-establish satisfactory academic progress by the end of that semester in order to continue on financial assistance. To reestablish financial aid satisfactory progress the student must complete twelve semester hours and earn a minimum GPA of 2.00

FINANCIAL AID SUSPENSION
Should a student not re-establish his satisfactory academic progress after one semester of financial aid probation, all forms of financial assistance to the student will be suspended.

Any student whose financial assistance has been suspended may reestablish financial aid satisfactory progress by completing, without the benefit of financial assistance, twelve semester hours while earning a GPA of 2.0 or more.

Any student who receives a 0.0 GPA for the semester due to grades of F will be suspended from participation in all financial aid programs without a probationary period. The student may be reinstated on financial aid by earning twelve semester hours or by filing a successful appeal of the financial aid suspension.

FINANCIAL AID APPEALS
Any financial aid suspension may be appealed to the Associate Vice President for Admissions and Financial Aid. This written appeal must explain why the satisfactory academic progress standard was not maintained and must prove extenuating circumstances in order for the appeal to be honored.

Any student whose appeal is granted will be placed on financial aid probation for the following semester. Failure to maintain satisfactory progress at the end of that semester will again result in the suspension of financial aid.
