As a service to Hiwassee College students, Monroe Area Council for the Arts (MACA) presents a world-class performing arts series at the Barker Learning Center, located on the campus of Hiwassee College.

In conjunction with the series, MACA provides opportunities for workshops and master classes which allow students to have personal interaction with professional touring artists.

Past artists have included the Harlem Gospel Choir, pianist Emile Pandolfi, Elvis tribute performer Travis LeDoyt, the Dan Tyminski Band and other renowned performing artists.

Free admission is granted to Hiwassee College students. All that is required for a ticket is a valid Hiwassee College student ID.
